The Design Process begins with a free in-home visit. We discuss your ideas keeping in mind your needs, style, budget, timeline, and feasibility. As you review our idea book, we take thorough measurements, draw a plan to scale, and then make revisions on-site with you. This process usually takes about 1 to 1½ hours. We will send a line-item proposal and CAD drawing based on the one you designed with our basement consultant.

LIGHTING IDEAS

1. •A drywall ceiling can make the room feel more spacious: it is an unbroken expanse of visual area.
   

2. •Properly spaced recessed lighting provides lots of light and can be adjusted if put on a dimmer switch.
   

3. •Puck lights can be placed under cabinets or accenting a bookcase and up-lit lights in a coffered ceiling.
   

4. •An egress window – an emergency exit – provides an abundance of natural light.
